Tasks required for the job
Does this sound like you? You've got passion, creativity, and the kind of marketing instincts that can't be learned in a textbook.
This role is perfect for someone who has relevant training and is just at the outset of their career, or who hasn't formally trained in digital marketing but has natural talent and wants to transition from an unrelated field into a new career or bring their fresh ideas to the world of digital marketing.
If you've got a knack for crafting stories that connect with people, a curious mind, and the drive to make a difference, we want to hear from you.
Here's what we're looking for:
* A love for all things digital: Whether it's creating scroll-stopping content or diving into SEO and analytics to find out what really makes people click.
* An eye for creativity and detail: You'll be generating content daily across multiple platforms, so if you've got a flair for words, visuals, or both, this is your playground.
* A sense of adventure: Elliot Lake isn't just any place; it's a tight-knit Northern Ontario community where nature meets opportunity. If you thrive in an environment that lets you balance work with lakeside hikes and fresh air, you'll fit right in.
* Willingness to learn and grow: You don't need formal marketing training, but a hunger to absorb new skills and apply what you learn in real-time is key.
* Collaborative spirit: You'll be working closely with different departments, so being able to communicate your ideas and get things done as part of a team is essential.
This position is about exploring new horizons -- in your career and in a beautiful corner of Ontario. If you're ready to dive into the dynamic world of digital marketing, while embracing the charm and tranquility of life in Elliot Lake, we'd love to meet you!
This opportunity is proudly supported by Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) and is funded through the Workforce Development Program.
