Andrea De Paoli is from Calgary, Alberta. While earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of Calgary, she spent some semesters abroad in Mexico and Italy.
She is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Italian. Andrea hopes to learn more about economic development as well as social and cultural development in different communities and on various levels through the internship opportunity.
She left for Lima, Peru, to undertake a work experience with Collectivo Integral De Desarrollo, which supports the business development of new enterprises.
Following orientation and dialogue with the members of the technical team from CID, Andrea will perform initial diagnosis of the conditions and potentialities of young enterprises; assist in providing guidance in business plan development to small businesses; assist in the development of the work plan for the re-launching of organization’s web site; and assist in the dictation of workshops on Internet tools for small businesses based on business knowledge and youth needs.
